Sauk County Rural Safety Days Camp

The 2026 Rural Safety Day Camp was held in-person this year at the Sauk County Fairgrounds May 12-14th. Various presenters discussed several topics:

• E-Bike and E-Scooter Safety (Wisconsin Department of Transportation)
• Seat Belt Safety (Wisconsin Department of Transportation)
• First Aid (Sauk Prairie Healthcare)
• Electrical Safety (Alliant Energy)
• Water Safety (Baraboo School District - Indoor Pool)
• Firearm Safety (Sauk County Sheriff's Department)
• Small Animal Safety (Sauk County Humane Society
• Farm Equipment Safety (Gerike Farms)
• Large Animal Safety (Morning Glory Veterinary Care)
• ATV/UTV Safety (Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources)
• Fire Safety (Baraboo Fire & EMS District, with assistance from Reedsburg and Spring Green)
• Bike & Helmet Safety (Baraboo Police Department)
