The horse trails and horse campground at White Mound County Park are CLOSED for the season! We can't wait to see you in the spring!

The Land Resources and Environment Department’s Parks and Recreation Division provides oversight and management of all the County’s recreational amenities and open spaces for our residents and visitors. The park system exemplifies our cultural identity and embraces a natural legacy for future generations to come. The park and recreation division ensures facilities are well-maintained, creates educational opportunities and community events, and ensures that a broad spectrum of recreational activities is available for residents and visitors to enjoy their outdoor experience.

We have plenty of information available online. You can check availability of a campsite at White Mound Campground or find something to do this weekend. You can also find all of our parks and boat landings. Pets are allowed at all of our properties, but they need to remain on a 6 foot leash at all times and are not allowed on the sand at the beaches.

During the off season, Labor Day through Memorial Day, some amenities may not be available. If you have any questions, please contact our office 608-355-4800.
