Prairie Smoke Terrace

If you’re looking for a venue to host a family reunion, small wedding, graduation party or other gathering, please consider Prairie Smoke Terrace overlooking White Mound Lake at White Mound County Park. Enjoy the lakeside view in the climate controlled terrace or open the overhead doors for a more outdoor experience.

Available to rent all seasons, the Terrace accommodates 64 people seated indoors at round tables, or 90 seated classroom style. If additional outdoor space is needed, tents may be set up near the Terrace for an additional fee. The parking lot near the Terrace accommodates approximately 46 vehicles and two additional parking areas further away accommodates approximately 33 additional vehicles.

The daily rental fee is $50 per hour, with a minimum of four (4) hours. If additional time is needed, each additional hour past the four (4) hour rental period is $50 per hour. Full payment and a $300 security deposit is required for a reservation. Dates and times available for rental are listed below.

• Sunday through Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

A 3-Day Package is also available for $800. Full payment, consultation with the County and a $500 security deposit is required for a reservation.  Dates and time included in the package are listed below. 

• Day 1: 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon
• Day 2: 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Day 3: 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon

Permitted rental dates and times stated in the Terms and Conditions may be altered with prior approval from the County.
