Seth Peterson Cottage
Designed in 1958 by Frank Lloyd Wright. Vintage Wright, the cottage features a massive fireplace of sandstone, floor and terraces of flagstone; a great soaring roof affording a stunning view of Mirror Lake, enhanced by the cottage's location balanced on the edge of a secluded promontory in Mirror Lake State Park. The cottage has been described as having "more architecture per square foot than any other building Wright designed".
The cottage has been restored by the Seth Peterson Cottage Conservancy, and is the only Wright house available for rent by the general public. Overnight (or longer) stays are available for up to four guests.
