Reedsburg Depot

A train depot served Reedsburg from March 1870 to July 1963. The present depot was built in 1906. Long dormant, the depot, (the rails and trains it served having passed into history), has been revived with the advent of state project (WDNR) to create a bicycle trail along the Chicago Northwestern rail line. The trail bears the name of a famous train, "The 400". Since 1994 the depot has become a focal point for bikers and is occupied by the Reedsburg Chamber of Commerce.
