Landmarks Registry of Sauk County

The Landmarks Registry is intended to give recognition to properties significant in American and local history, architecture, archeology, engineering, and culture. A property does not need to be included on the National Register of Historic Places in order to be given Sauk County's Landmarks Registry designation.

A property becomes listed in the Landmarks Registry after the nomination is approved by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, on the recommendation of the UW Extension, Arts and Culture Committee. Currently there are over 25 sites that have been accorded this designation. See link below for application.
