Horseback
White Mound County Park offers several miles of horse trails for those who bring their own horses. The trails are open May 15th through November 1st. In addition to having horse trails, the park also has a horse campground complete with restrooms, picnic tables, hitching posts, trailer parking and fire rings. If you intend to camp overnight, please register at the office.
The 400 State Trail offers a 7 mile horse trail parallel to the bike trail. Horses must stay on the grassy portion of the trail.
