William Stolte Jr. House
Built in 1899, this was the home of William Stolte, Jr. who was a prominent civic leader and businessman in Reedsburg. He was one of the partners in Stolte, Dangel and Foss Co. which became the Big Store. For many years he was an active promoter of the Old Settlers Association.
This Queen Anne style features a wraparound porch, tower capped with a conical roof, multi-gabled roof with dormers and scroll-like modillions around the cornice. Note the gable ornamentation and bay windows.
