Zion Lutheran Stone Church

German immigrants living in Westfield Township started the congregation in 1856, the first Lutheran church in Sauk County. In 1872, the present church was built of stone from local area farms. Membership in 1872 consisted of approximately 50 families.

Located on Stone Church Road outside of Rock Springs, the church has been modified and added on to over the years. It is due to diligent maintenance by the parishioners that the church stands in such great shape today.
