The budget process began early in 2012 with discussions of programmatic priorities and service delivery. Adaptation to the changing economic environment is a key component of budgetary discussions for 2013. Sauk County Committee’s will hold night meetings to review programs, discuss outputs and outcomes, identify goals for the coming year and ensure that the movement forward was consistent with the defined mission/vision departmentally – and that it synched with the county-wide mission.

These videos are of the 12th Biannual Intergovernmental Meeting held by the Sauk County Executive and Legislative Committee in the Culvers Franchise System building in Sauk Prairie Wisconsin.

They have 2 guest speakers: John Koskinen, Chief Analyst of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue whose presentation is titled "Wisconsin's Economy and the Public Mood" (part 1); and Mark O'Connell, Executice Director for the Wisconsin Counties Association, whose presentation is titled "Issues and Trends for Local Governments" (part 2).

Sauk County was awarded the 2010 Best Overall Loss Control Program from the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation (WCMIC). Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation awards this honor annually to the County that has obtained the best loss control rating and has displayed a strong loss control program.

The Final Sauk County Supervisory District Plan was approved by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on September 20, 2011 by Ordinance No. 90-2011. The maps were developed utilizing the 2010 Census Information.
