Sauk County Arts, Humanities, and Historic Preservation Grant Opportunities

The Sauk County Arts & Culture Committee is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for the Arts, Humanities and Historic Preservation grant program, an initiative made possible with funding from Sauk County and the Wisconsin Arts Board.  The grants are designed to expand the presence of the arts, humanities and historic preservation throughout Sauk County.

Each year, the Sauk County Arts & Culture Committee awards over $50,000 to nonprofits throughout Sauk County to support a wide variety of humanities and arts-based content.  These grants provide funds needed for programming including festivals, community events, lectures, tours, digital projects, community conversations, film projects, exhibitions and more. Past recipients have ranged from schools to local municipalities, individual artists to historic preservation groups.

The Sauk County Arts & Culture Committee award annual grants through a competitive application and review process.  Applications are available from December 1 to February 1.  All applications are due to the Sauk County UW-Extension office, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI by 4:30pm on February 1, 2018.  Visit https://www.co.sauk.wi.us/artsandculture for more information and application materials.
