SUBJECTS FOR DISCUSSION:
1. Call to order and certify compliance with open meetings law – West Square Building Parking Lot
2. Adopt agenda.
3. Travel to Sauk County Law Enforcement Center (Leaving WSB approximately 9:05am)
a. Sauk County Law Enforcement Center: Pollinator Garden overview presented by Sauk County LRE Staff (1300 Lange Court, Baraboo arrival approximately 9:15 a.m.)
4. Travel to Sauk County Farm (Leaving Sauk County LEC approximately 9:45am)
a. Sauk County Farm: Rainfall Simulator, Cover Crop Demonstration and Rotational Grazing overview presented by Sauk County LRE Staff (S4555 County Rd CH, Reedsburg arrival approximately 10:15 a.m.)
5. Travel to Sauk County West Square Building (Leaving Sauk County Farm approximately 11:30 a.m.)
6. Next meeting dates - Tuesday, October 25, 2022 and Thursday, November 10, 2022.

Conservation Field Visits
Land Resources and Environment (LRE) Committee members present: M. Krueger, D. Polivka, R. Spencer, L. Eberl, V. McAuliffe
Others present: M. Schlupp, J. Bula, L. Wilson, C. Grogan, B. Sadler
Absent: R. Puttkamer, P. Kinsman, B. Lohr (all gave prior notice)
At 9:03 a.m. Krueger called the Land Resources and Environment Committee meeting to order and certified the meeting to be in compliant with the Open Meetings Law.
Adopt the Agenda: Motion by Polivka/Spencer to adopt the agenda. Motion carried, unanimously.
Left the West Square Building at 9:05 a.m.
Sauk County Law Enforcement Center (1300 Lange Court, Baraboo): Arrived 9:07 a.m. Bula provided background on the pollinator program completed in cooperation with UW-Extension.
Left the Law Enforcement Center at 9:14 a.m.
Sauk County Farm (S4555 County Rd CH, Reedsburg): Arrived at 9:52 a.m. Schlupp provides history on the County Farm and outlined what is proposed with the County Farm Master Plan for the property.
Sadler gave a presentation on cover crop species and provided a demonstration of the rainfall simulator.
Schlupp requested that if members have ideas on things, they want to see for the next tour to let her know.
Krueger mentioned visiting some of the projects funded by the Lake Management Grants.
Left the County Farm at 10:41 and arrived back at the West Square Building at 11:05.
Next meeting dates –Tuesday, October 25, 2022 and Thursday, November 10, 2022.
Motion by Eberl/McAuliffe to adjourn the meeting at 11:06 a.m. Motion carried, unanimously.
