Members Present: Cathy Warwick, Alene Bolin, Kevin Calkins, Jay Englund, Leonie Dolch, Brian Basham, and Dan Brattset

 

Members Absent: Peter Vedro, Judge Barrett, Captain Lange

 

Others Present: Regina Baldwin, Tom Kriegl, Glen Johnson

             

Call Meeting to Order:

The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 3:35 p.m.

Adopt Agenda: Motion by Bolin second by Calkins to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

 

Minutes: Motion by Bolin second by Basham to approve the minutes of the prior meeting. Motion carried.

Communications:

Stepping Up – Question #3, Assignments from August 7, 2019

-Intercept 1: Law Enforcement/Emergency services. Need Law Enforcement Input

-Intercept 2: Initial Detention /Initial court hearings. Calkins spoke to current processes potential gaps in dealing with behavioral health needs

-Intercept 3: Jail/Courts. Need Law Enforcement Input

-Intercept: 4: Re-Entry. Warwick spoke to new positions being created in 2020 budget - Re-Entry Coordinator and Educational Navigator position to aid in transition of inmate population into the community, maximizing community supports.

-Intercept 5: Community Corrections/Community support. Basham spoke to conditions of supervision and community connections

Captain Lange was not in attendance. Agenda item added to next meeting agenda.
