AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE QUARTERLY MEETING:
1) Carlson called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.
2) MOTION (Whitsell/Wolkowski) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously and agenda adopted.
3) MOTION (Spencer/Curry) to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of November 20th, 2019. Motion carried unanimously.

6) 2019 Department Annual Report: Blodgett presented to the board the ADRC 2019 annual report. She stated that in 2019 the cost of the Add Life newsletter went down due to changing the printing company, updating our mailing list, and the quality of the newsletter is better now. Blodgett reported that in 2019 the Reedsburg dining center moved to a new location, ADRC open 2 new dining options for our clients – restaurant model meals at Reedsburg Country club and Four star Restaurant at Baraboo. The restaurant models are very popular and we are seeing an increase in the congregate clients. We are planning to hold a grand openings at Reedsburg Country Club and Four star restaurant in Baraboo in the next few weeks. ADRC is currently working on starting a restaurant model at The Shed - Spring Green. Blodgett presented the YTD meals numbers to the board. Discussion followed.
7) Service Reports:
a) Nutrition: Covered under item 6.
b) Caregiver:

New NFCSP scholarship funding: Blodgett reported that ADRC still have funds for caregiver respite care. In 2019 we had 17 caregivers using the NFCSP funds.
C) Evidence-based Classes for 2019:
-
Stepping On class will ended on October 31, 2019. Since the beginning of the year we had 4 completed workshops and 35 participants. We started a new Stepping on class on January 7th, 2020 at Oak Park Place.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers class – we have 2 workshops running now and 18 completed.
d) Boost your Brain - we are planning to have an in person class in the summer. Discussion followed. No action taken.
8) Other ADRC updates: Blodgett informed the board that the regional budget is not fully complete. Discussion followed, no action taken.
8) Next meeting date and time: Thursday, May 28th, 2020 at 9:00 am- West Square Building
9) MOTION (Wolkowski/Whitsell) to adjourn until Thursday, May 28th, 2020 at 9:00a.m. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m.
