Adult Protective Services

Adult Protective Services is a division of the Sauk County Human Services Department that is responsible for investigating abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults 18 years and older who are elderly and/or have disabilities.

Mission of Adult Protective Services:

To protect older adults and persons with disabilities from abuse, neglect and exploitation by investigating and providing or arranging for services as necessary to alleviate or prevent further maltreatment.

If you are concerned about an adult at risk in Sauk County and want to make a referral to APS please call 608-355-4200. Please ask to speak to an ACCESS worker to make a referral for APS.

The ADRC does not directly provide adult protective services.
