Transportation Coordination Committee

Wednesday, November 20, 2019                         10:30 A.M.

County Board Gallery 326-B        , West Square Building,

Members Present:  Carlson, Curry, Klepper, Rudolph, Spencer, Waddell, Wolkowski, Ellington, Brown, and Schulte

Members Absent:   Brattset (excused), Ward, Wildman (excused), Hause (excused)

County Personnel:  Blodgett, Zomer, Dankert, ADRC

 

1) Klepper called the meeting to order at 10:33 a.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

 

2) Motion (Spencer/Waddell) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously and agenda adopted.

 

3) MOTION (Rudolph/Schulte) to approve the minutes of the regular meeting from August 29, 2019 Motion carried unanimously. Vote all in favor.

 

4)  Public Comment:  None

 

5) Communications:  Blodgett presented Staci Dankert as the new Transportation Coordinator at ADRC. Discussion followed, no action taken.

 

6) Blodgett stated that we are working on 85.21 grant application.  Blodgett informed the board that Karl Schulte was appointed to be a member of the Transportation Committee replacing Richard Running. Blodgett reported that the ADRC is working with the city of Baraboo and Abby Vans for the transition from Running, Inc. to Abby Vans starting January 1st, 2020. The city of Reedsburg also will have a transition to new taxi company. The new taxi companies will honor the old unused taxi cards for a period of time (30-60days). We are still transporting clients from the Health Care Center. Discussion followed. No action taken.

 

7) Next meeting date and time: Thursday, February 20th, 2020 10:00 a.m.

 

8) MOTION (Carlson/Spencer) to adjourn until Thursday, February 20th, 2020 at 10:00a.m.  Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 10:47 a.m.
