DRAFT MEETING MINUTES

 

COMMITTEE: Aging & Disability Resource Center and Veterans Service Office Committee

DATE / TIME: Wednesday, July 7th, 2021     4:00 P.M.

PLACE:              West Square Building, Room 213

                        Baraboo, WI  53913

Members Present:  Bushweiler, Curry, Polivka, and Riek

Members Absent:   Dorner (excused)

County Personnel:  Susan Blodgett, ADRC; Sandy Deich, VSO; Tony Tyczynski, VSO ; Quinn Hause, ADRC; Stefka Zomer, ADRC;

Others Present:     None  

Curry called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

MOTION (Polivka/Riek) to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried unanimously.

MOTION (Riek/Polivka) to approve the meeting minutes from June 2nd, 2021.  Motion carried unanimously.

Public Comment:  None

Communications:  None

Tony Tyczynski, Veterans Service Office:

  1. VSO departmental updates and service trends

  2. Tyczynski discussed the outreach by VSO; CVSOA of WI training Conference in Kalahari; Visit American Legion Lavelle Post. Discussion followed, No action taken.

  3. Tyczynski discussed the current Veterans case trends –Mental health and Claims accuracy request claims. Discussion followed.No action taken.

       b) Tyczynski presented the monthly financial statements for his department.  Discussion Followed, No action taken

       c)  Consider approval of the Monthly Invoices – Discussion followed.

MOTION (Polivka/Bushweiler) to approve the June 2021 bills in the amount of $3, 258.74. Motion carried unanimously.

Susan Blodgett, Aging & Disability Resource Center

  1. Blodgett presented to the board her monthly report. Blodgett informed the board members that ADRC is working on 2022 budget. ADRC is working on reopening all congregate dining centers in the next few months. Starting July 6th, 2021 My Meal My Way at Reedsburg Country Club location is open for diners. ADRC is continuing working on the Aging Plan and Farmers market coupons distribution.  Discussion followed. No action taken.

  2. Blodgett presented the monthly financial statements for her department. Discussion followed.

  3. Blodgett presented the Monthly invoices for her department. Discussion followed.

    MOTION (Bushweiler/Riek) to approve the June 2021 bills in the amount of $ 20, 276.55. Motion carried unanimously.

  4. State’s reply on Regional Funding- Discussion followed. No action taken

Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle County Board Update: Discussion followed. No action taken.

MOTION (Polivka/Riek) to adjourn until Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 5:06 p.m.
