SERVSAFE CLASS NOW OFFERED AT SAUK COUNTY

The CDC estimates 48 million people get sick, 128,000 are hospitalized, and 3,000 die from foodborne diseases each year in the United States.  Knowledge of food safety is vital in preventing these illnesses.

Along with several others across the State of Wisconsin, the Sauk County Health Department will now be offering the ServSafe Manager Certification course.  This certification is required to operate a food establishment and is great for those that want to keep up on food safety practices.

This certification course will be held at the West Square Building at 505 Broadway in Baraboo, WI.  It will be offered bi-annually in March and October.  The class will be approximately 8 hours long, with lunch provided and an exam at the end.  Registration information is located on the Sauk County Health Department website and on the Sauk County Health Department Facebook page.  A certificate will be provided to those individuals with a passing score on the exam.
