Temporary Enrollment for Family Planning Only Services

Available for women and men who are U.S. Citizens, age 15 years and older, who would like to apply for the Family Planning Waiver Program and have coverage during the full application process online.

 The Public Health Nurses can write a confidential temporary card that takes effect immediately and goes through the last day of the following month. It will cover doctor office visits that specifically address birth control discussion, but also includes the pap and pelvic exams for women, STI testing, and most types of contraception. It can only be written one time per year. The client then needs to apply online at https://access.wi.gov or by calling the Enrollment Services Center at 1-800-362-3002. Teens may apply without using parents' income information and written information may be sent to an address other than a home address.
