Purpose

To grant an underground electric easement to Wisconsin Power & Light allowing WPL to install underground electric line to replace an existing overhead line located along Linn Street/STH 136. 

Background

Sauk County owns property located at Linn Street/State Highway 136 in the Village of West Baraboo.  Wisconsin Power and Light Company requests Sauk County grant, for $6000.00, an easement, the purpose for which is to allow Wisconsin Power & Light to install underground electric line to replace the existing overhead line located along Linn Street/STH 136.  The underground electric easement document and an easement location map are attached to this resolution.

Resolution Body

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Sauk County Board of Supervisors,

met in regular session, approves granting an underground electric line easement to Wisconsin Power and Light Company, and upon payment of consideration of $6000.00 to the Sauk County Treasurer, authorizes the Sauk County Clerk to execute the easement described in the attached addendum.   

 

For consideration by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on February 19, 2018.
