Strategic priorities- Public input Session

 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

 

Residents and property owners in Sauk County are invited to help identify future strategic priorities for Sauk County.  The strategic issues input session will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 4:30 – 5:30 in the County Board Room, Third Floor, 505 Broadway, Baraboo.  County staff will update participants regarding efforts and progress regarding some of the strategic priorities identified by the Board of Supervisors at mid-term 2015.  The seven strategic issues identified in 2015 include: 

  • Be able to effectively change behaviors of the drugged and drunk drivers.

  • Establish, develop and expand the Nurse Family Partnership program to assist first time high risk mothers.

  • Identify key areas of development for county parks and develop “Placemaking” as a regional initiative.

  • To keep moving forward on the issue of Building Security.

  • Continuously explore evolving green energy practices.

  • Continued proactive approach to employee wellness.

  • Development of the continuum of care campus in conjunction with the Sauk County Health Care Center.

Participants will be asked to offer suggestions regarding new strategic priorities that the County Board should consider as part of their 2017 budget planning efforts. 

Please be advised that a quorum of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors or a committee thereof might be present at this public input session, but no action is to be taken on any matter.
