About Administrator's Office

Mission Statement: To provide effective leadership to all county departments and functions and a knowledgeable resource to the Board of Supervisors in compliance with Chapter 35 of the Sauk County Code of Ordinances.

Administrator: Represents & stands for the County Board, making certain policies adopted are enforced & administered. Works with appropriate oversight committees in appointments of department heads (non-elected), and provides supervision for department heads. Provides recommendations to the County Board regarding administrative practices, annual budget procedures, long-range capital improvements, County work & performance standards. Prepares analysis & reports as directed by the County Board. Serves as point of contact and compliance officer for the Americans with Disabilities Act (shared with Personnel Director), and privacy officer for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Serves as Community Development Block Grant - Revolving Loan Fund Administrator. Manages intergovernmental processes, and cross departmental coordination efforts.
