Members Present: Patricia Rego, Jeff Shimon, Annette Kuhlmann; Jenna Greenwood; Tammy Hill; Linda Hoffman; Elizabeth LaBroscian; Rick Spoentgen

Call to order: 3:33PM

Certified compliance with  open meetings laws – LaBroscian

Moved to adopt amended agenda: Motion by Greenwood; Second by Rego. Approved by unanimous vote.

Minutes not reviewed due to not being on agenda. Next meeting will need to review minutes from previous month

Agency update:

• DA’s office – Gino the facility dog now in the building for anyone in the courthouse who needs a support animal; hired Deb O’Rourke for open ADA spot

• DHS – Greenwood new CPS supervisor

  • Ch 48 stakeholder committee – focusing on deceasing the length to permanence. Process being worked out – seems to be working well so far

  • Unfortunate that Deb is leaving Corp. Counsel because she was getting well-trained, now there won’t be someone in the Corp. Counsel’s office who knows the process.

Discussed the CAC and potential locations

• Possibility of 8^th St. location owned by Hope House

  • Pros/Cons

• Possibility of in Hope House

  • Pros/cons

• Possibility of in Baraboo City Hall

• Possibility of in Courthouse

• Possibility of Safe Harbor Satellite location

  • Who would bear the costs? Thought that it may be shared.

    • Linda Hoffman to call Safe Harbor to discuss potential costs, locations (who supplies/gets/pays for – us/them)

    • Pat to contact Ian Crammond to see about potential room in Courthouse

    • Jenna and Tammy to look into Civic Center

    • Elizabeth to discuss potential for use of 8^th St. property or in-building possibility with Jamie S.

    • Elizabeth also to explore other building options re: Sauk Prairie Hospital, Inner Vision.

Discussed Data from constituent agencies

• DHS, Safe Harbor, law enforcement (though some of this may be under-reported – going to follow-up with Safe Harbor to see if they track our agencies’ uses.

Speaker possibilities:

• Don’t bring in the person to talk about starting the CAC from the group-up if we’re going to potentially do a satellite site for Safe Harbor

Next Meeting – 1/15/20 @ 3:30PM – likely to recur on the 3^rd Wed of the month.
