Members present: Cindy Bodendein, Marty Krueger, Kevin Calkins, Dan Brattset, Judge Reynolds, Jeff Bindl, Jay Englund, Jerry Strunz, Ellen Allen, Bryan Basham, Ryan Ramnarace, Clark Pettersen, and William Wenzel

 

Members absent: Leonie Dolch, Lewis Lange, Amanda Hanson, Annette Kuhlmann, Ray Laatsch, Judge Klicko, and Judge Screnock

 

Others Present: Alene Bolin and Christopher Polzer

 

The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 3:32 p.m. Motion by ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Strunz, second by Englund to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

 

Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting (Thursday, September 21, 2017). Motion by Strunz, Second by Englund to accept. Motion carried.

 

Public Comment:  None

 

Communications: Invitation to County Board Christmas party distributed by M. Krueger.

 

October CJCC Report:  (see attached). Polzer.  

 

Standing and Sub-Committee Updates:

a. Adult Justice Systems – Chaired by Strunz (Update provided).

o Treatment Court Subcommittee – Chaired by Judge Screnock (various committee members provided  update). Motion by Strunz, Second by Reynolds to approve updates to Treatment Court Policy Motion passed unanimously, with one abstention – Englund.

o CCR/SAR Team – Rick Spoentgen (Update provided by Calkins).

b. Juvenile Justice Systems – Chaired by Bindl (Update provided, including truancy statistics).

c. System Mapping – Chaired by Kuhlmann (update provided by Polzer – Al Frank, Wisconsin DOC – tentatively scheduled for meeting on December 12, 2017 – Decision Point #7).

d. Data Collection – Chaired By Krueger (Update provided). Recommended making goal 3 from OWI Manual part of the Mission Statement. Acknowledged and will be adjusted during later revision.
