Members present:  Debra O’Rourke, Jeffrey Bindl, Judge Jim Evenson, Tiffani Gruber, Vicki Meister, Tim Green, and Steve Pate              

Members absent:  Carrie Wastlick, Stephanie Johnson, and Dr. Amy DeLong

Others Present:   Judge Screnock and Judge Reynolds

 

The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 7:05 A.M. Motion by Evenson, second by Pate to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

Motion by Meister, second by Evenson, to approve the minutes of the prior meeting.  Motion carried.

Public Comment: None.

Communications: None.

Goal Statement:  Motion by Evenson, second by Pate, to approve the goal statement.  Motion carried.

CANS Update: Numbers on the opt ins/outs, number of text reminders sent, warrants issued for FTA and arrests made for FTA were provided to the group.  Discussion on the lack of response from the survey’s that were sent result in a decision to re-evaluate using survey’s until the program is more established.

Community Service Programming:  Committee discusses the framework used for the jail program and the differences in inmate classification as it relates to program availability.  In addition, the committee discusses evaluating the juvenile program in Columbia County and working with Human Services to collaborate as they look to implement programming.
