Minutes for August 16, 2010 TCC meeting held in Room 213 of the West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI.
Attending: Art Carlson, Betty Durst, Peter Murray, Ralph Soeldner, Darwin Nelson, Theron Hill, Trish Vandre, Phyllis Johnson, Janet Pearson, and Ashley Nedeau-Owen.
Absent: Sue Hebel, Jim Brown, Natalie Wilmot, Sandra Roemer-Rutter, Michael Coleman and Alan Wildman.
Called to order by Carlson at 10:30 AM in compliance with Open Meeting Law.
Pearson moved, seconded by Durst to adopt agenda. Amendment to change meeting dates of future meetings such that actual dates are listed. Amended agenda adopted unanimously.
Minutes of May and June meetings adopted as written.
No public comment received.
Received a letter from concerned citizens at Maple Ridge in Reedsburg requesting a restoration of Tuesday Travels and a resumption of a once weekly grocery bus.
Discussion of The Bus included recommendation that specific information about how The Bus can be used to access nursing homes and assisted living facilities be made available.
Discussion of Business items included support for submitting grants to expand bus service to Merrimac not less than once per week.
Moved by Murray seconded by Soeldner to approve a Resolution in Opposition to the State-Wide Medical Assistance Transportation Manager Created in the 2009-2011 State Budget. Motion passed unanimously.
Next meeting date set for Wednesday November 3, 2010 at 10:30 in Baraboo.
Soeldner moved to adjourn, Durst seconded, unanimously adjourned at 11:55.
