Land Resources and Extension Committee

The Sauk County Land Resources and Extension Committee is responsible for the oversight of the Land Resources and Environment Department,  Mapping-GIS, Surveyor Department, and the Register of Deeds Department.

Committee meetings are typically held twice a month, with the public hearings for issues such as rezoning petitions and/or conditional use permits, held on the last meeting of the month.    Each year the committee schedules it hearings, which are subject to change at their discretion. The following is a tentative list of meeting dates along with deadlines for the public to be put on the agenda, after a complete application has been submitted to the department.  If you are looking for an agenda or minutes of a particular meeting and you can not locate them on the web, please contact the Department for assistance or the County Clerk's Office.
