1. Call to order and certify compliance with open meetings law – West Square Building Parking
Lot
2. Adopt agenda.
3. Travel to Riverland Conservancy (Leaving WSB approximately 9:00am)
a. Riverland Conservancy: Streambank restoration project, stream shocking demonstration,
and stream monitoring overview presented by Wisconsin DNR, Riverland Conservancy, and
Sauk County LRE Staff (S6888 State Rd 113 Merrimac arrival approximately 9:20 a.m.)
4. Travel back to the West Square Building (Leaving Riverland Conservancy approximately 11:40
a.m.)
5. Next meeting dates - Tuesday, June 25th and Thursday, July 11, 2019.

Land Resources and Environment Committee members present: J. Berlin, G. Johnson, M. Krueger, R. Newport, and C. Spencer.
Absent: J. Dietz and R. Puttkamer.
Others Present: P. Rego, K. Lins, L. Wilson, M. Keenan, J. Bula, B. Sadler, S. Koenig, G. Johnson, L. Nachreiner, J. Butteris, J. Renley – Riverland Conservancy, N. Nye – DNR, and K. Moua – DNR
At 9:00 a.m. Spencer called the Conservation Tour meeting of the Land Resources and Environment Committee to order. Wilson certified the meeting to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.
Adopt agenda: Motion by G. Johnson, second by C. Whitsell to adopt the agenda as presented. Motion carried, all in favor.
Travel to Riverland Conservancy: Left WSB at approximately 9:02 a.m.
Riverland Conservancy: J. Renley informed the members with information regarding the history of the property and the projects that have taken place over time. G. Johnson explained the projects that had been completed with LRE staff assistance. Maps and photos of the area were shared with the group. N. Nye explained the environment necessary to be determined a Class 1 Trout stream. N. Nye demonstrated a fish shocking. S. Koenig presented the various equipment used to monitor water as well as sampled for macroinvertebrates.
Travel back to the West Square Building: Left Riverland Conservancy at approximately 10:42 a.m.
Next meeting dates: Tuesday, June 25 and Thursday, July 11 at the Town of Lavalle at 6:00 p.m.
Adjournment: Motion by R. Newport, second by C. Whitsell to adjourn the meeting at 11:04 a.m. Motion carried, all in favor.
