SAUK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

CONSERVATION, PLANNING, AND ZONING COMMITTEE

Wednesday, July 30, 2014 – Meeting Room B30/B24

West Square Building

Conservation, Planning, and Zoning (CPZ) Committee members present:  J. Dietz, N. Johnson, G. Lehman, D. Polivka

Excused absent:  J. Ashford, E. Peterson, R. Puttkamer

Others present:  B. Michalek

At 8:15 a.m. Chair Lehman called the Conservation, Planning, and Zoning Committee to order and certified to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.

Adopt agenda:  Motion by Polivka/Johnson to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried, all in favor.

Public Comment:  None.

Communications:  Public Notice of Intent to Reissue a Wisconsin Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (WPDES) Permit for the Sauk Prairie Sewerage Commission.

Update on Clean Sweep:  Committee updated on the progress of finding a replacement for the electronics collection for the fall Clean Sweep event. 

Update on Conditional Use Permit Training on September 30:  Narrowed down the location and time for the training.  Michalek asked if they could begin notification to the towns.  Committee decided on a 6 p.m. start time.  The location will be the County Board Room.

Depart for Southern Area Association (SAA) Tour/Meeting at 9:00 a.m.:  Committee members left for the tour.

Reconvene at the West Square Building at 3:00 p.m. in B30/B24:  Meeting ended due to lack of quorum at 1:00 pm.

Discussion of SAA Tour:  No discussion took place due to loss of quorum.

Next meeting of the Conservation, Planning, and Zoning Committee will be held on Thursday, August 14.
