MOTION (Bychinski/Czuprynko). Discussion followed regarding proposed amendments and budget
process.
MOTION (Kriegl/Dietz) to amend resolution 124-2014 using the vacancy factor re-allocation in the three of the four largest departments (Sheriff, Human Services & Highway). Discussion followed in support of and opposition to the amendment.
MOTION (Bychinski/Meister) for the previous question (to end discussion on the motion to amend). VOTE: AYES: (22) Czuprynko, Meister, N. Johnson, Lehman, Held, G. Johnson,

VOTE on motion to amend resolution 124-2014 using the vacancy factor re-allocation in the three

MOTION (Kriegl/Dietz) to amend resolution 124-2015 to increase jail bed rental by $ 222,435 providing a decrease in the tax levy in the 2015 Sheriff’s department budget. Supervisor Kriegl provided clarification to the various program area descriptions to be increased which would decrease the amount of tax levy for 2015. Discussion followed in support of and opposition to the amendment.
VOTE on motion to amend resolution 124-2014 to increase jail bed rental by $ 222,435 providing a
decrease in the tax levy in the 2015 Sheriff’s department budget. VOTE: AYES: (9) Kriegl,

MOTION (Bychinski/Czuprynko) to adopt Resolution 124-2014 establishing taxes to be levied in Sauk County for the Year 2015.
Levy rate, including special purpose levies, of $ 4.97 per $ 1,000.00
