REGULAR MEETING

ATTENDANCE:
Members Present: Arthur Carlson, Chair, Tommy Lee Bychinski, Ruth Dawson, Carol Held and Thomas Kriegl.

Others Present: Tony Tyczynski, Sauk County Veterans Service Officer, Trish Vandre, Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County Director, Suzanne Johnson, Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County Administrative Assistant.

Absent: None

CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order by A. Carlson at 8:18 a.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.

ADOPT AGENDA: Motion by T. Bychinski to adopt the Agenda, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.

ADOPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by C. Held to approve the September 5, 2012 Regular Meeting Minutes, as revised below, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None.

COMMUNICATIONS: None.

VETERANS SERVICE OFFICE BUSINESS ITEMS:

A. Consider Approval of 2013 Veteran’s Service Office Budget: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the 2013 Veteran’s Service Office Budget, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.

B. Veterans Service Office Departmental Update and Service Trends: T. Tyczynski distributed and presented the Veterans Service Office departmental update and service trends for Committee discussion.

C. Consider Approval of the Monthly Invoices: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the September 28, 2012 Monthly Invoices, in the amount of $2,371.68 and the September 30, 2012 Monthly Invoice, in the amount of $651.25, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.

AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER BUSINESS ITEMS:

A. Consider Approval of 2013 Aging & Disability Resource Center Budget: T. Vandre distributed and presented the 2013 Aging & Disability Resource Center budget for Committee discussion. Motion by R. Dawson to approve the 2013 Aging & Disability Resource Center Budget, second by C. Held. Motion carried.

B. Consider Approval of Proclamation of November 2012 as Family Caregiver Month in Sauk County: T. Vandre presented the Proclamation of November 2012 as Family Caregiver Month in Sauk County for Committee discussion. Motion by T. Bychinski to approve Proclamation of November 2012 as Family Caregiver Month in Sauk County, second R. Dawson. Motion carried.

C. Consider Approval of Exercising Option of Extending Feil’s Catering Contract Through December 31, 2013: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the extension of Fiel’s Catering Contract through December 31, 2013, second by C. Held. Motion carried.

D. Aging & Disability Resource Center Departmental Update and Service Trends: T. Vandre distributed and presented the Aging & Disability Resource Center departmental update and service trends for Committee discussion.

E. Review the Monthly Financial Statements: T. Vandre presented the Aging & Disability Resource Center monthly financial statements for Committee review.

F. Consider Approval of the Monthly Invoices: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the Monthly Invoices for September 30, 2012, in the amount of $30,158.60, second by T. Kriegl. Motion carried.

AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE: None.

AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER OF SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN – NORTH BOARD UPDATE: A. Carlson attended a meeting with the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Southwest Wisconsin – North Board.

NEXT MEETING: The next Regular Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Meeting will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 8:15 a.m. at the Sauk County West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, Wisconsin 53913.

CONSIDER ADJOURNMENT OF THE AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER COMMITTEE: Motion by T. Bychinski to adjourn the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Meeting at 10:12 a.m., second by C. Held. Motion carried.
