REGULAR MEETING

ATTENDANCE:
Members Present:  Arthur Carlson, Chair, Tommy Lee Bychinski, Ruth Dawson, Carol Held.
Members Absent:  Thomas Kriegl.

Others Present:  Thomas Litscher, ADRC of Sauk County Mobility & Operations Manager, Tony Tyczynski, Sauk County Veterans Service Officer.           

  1. Call to Order: The Meeting was called to order by A. Carlson at 8:18 a.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
  2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by T. Bychinski to adopt the Agenda, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
  3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting: Motion by R. Dawson to approve the March 13, 2013 Regular Meeting Minutes, second by T. Bychinski. Motion carried.
  4. Public Comment: None.
  5. Communications: Compliment to Bill Grosz as Instructor of AARP Driver Safety Course from Eldor Fruehling.
  6. Aging & Disability Resource Center Business Items
    1. Consider Approval of the 2012 Year-End Financial Statement: Motion by R. Dawson to approve the 2012 Year-End Financial Statement, second by C. Held. Motion carried.
    2. Consider Approval of Resolution No.___-13 Proclamation of May 2013 as Older Americans Month: Motion by R. Dawson to approve, second by T. Bychinski. Motion carried.
    3. Consider Approval of the Purchase and Installation of New Furniture by Paragon Business Furniture Group for the ADRC Basement-Level Office, in an Amount Not to exceed $35,000: Withdrawn by T. Litscher.
    4. Mid-Term Assessment - Generation of Strategic Issues
    5. Aging & Disability Resource Center Departmental Update and Service Trends: T. Litscher distributed and presented the Aging & Disability Resource Center departmental update and service trends for Committee discussion.
    6. Review the Monthly Financial Statements: T. Litscher presented the Aging & Disability Resource Center monthly financial statements for Committee review.
    7. Consider Approval of the Monthly Invoices Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the March 2013 Monthly Invoices in the amount of $29,220.36, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
  7. Veterans Service Office Business Items
    1. Mid-Term Assessment - Generation of Strategic Issues
    2. Veterans Service Office Departmental Update and Service Trends: T. Tyczynski distributed and presented the Veterans Service Office departmental update and service trends for Committee discussion.
    3. Consider Approval of the Monthly Invoices: Motion by C. Held to approve the March 2013 Monthly Invoices in the amount of $1,025.18, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
  8. Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Update.
  9. Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country Board Update: Arthur Carlson presented the ADRC of Eagle Country Update.
  10. Next Meeting: The next Regular Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 8:15 a.m. at the Sauk County West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, Wisconsin 53913.
  11. Consider Adjournment of the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee: Motion by R. Dawson to adjourn the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Meeting at 10:15 a.m., second by T. Bychinski. Motion carried.
