Members Present: Kriegl, Spencer, Hovde, Braunschweig.
Members Absent: Moore (excused)
County Personnel: Susan Blodgett, ADRC; Tony Tyczynski, Veterans; Alene Kleczek-Bolin, Admin Coord.; Marty Krueger, County Board Chair; and Robin Kitzinger, ADRC.
Others Present:
Chair Kriegl called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.
Kleczek-Bolin requests a change in the agenda moving item 9.g. before item 9.a.
MOTION (Hovde/Spencer) to adopt the amended agenda with the change requested by Kleczek-Bolin. Motion carried unanimously and amended agenda as changed adopted.
MOTION (Braunschweig/Spencer) to go into closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 1985 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the (governmental) body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance Evaluation Veterans Service Officer.
Roll Call: AYES (4) Hovde, Kriegl, Spencer and Braunschweig. NAYS (0). ABSENT: (1) Moore. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION (Spencer/Hovde) to reconvene in open session. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION (Spencer/Braunschweig) to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on December 14, 2017. (January 11, 2018 meeting canceled due to weather.) Motion carried unanimously.

Susan Blodgett, Aging & Disability Resource Center:
g) Blodgett provided the Committee with the background on the Lake Delton dining center closure and a proposal to reopen as a senior site offering various programs as well as meals. Discussion followed.
MOTION: (Spencer/Braunschweig) to support the opening of a Lake Delton senior site using carryover funds, with the help of Lake Delton contributing $15,000, and the creation of an advisory committee; and strongly advising that if the site is successful future money is put towards the program so as not to bind funding of other ADRC programs. Motion carried unanimously.
a) Blodgett reported the fiscal agent of the Region is now Juneau County and that the 2018 contract is under review and has not been signed. No action taken.
b) Blodgett reported that the remodel of the offices has been discontinued due to lack of space to house the full ADRC department. Discussion followed. The Committee asked Blodgett to contact the architect and determine the amount of space required.
c) Blodgett reviewed the departmental service trends and updates. No action taken.
h) As part of the departmental service trends and updates Blodgett reported on the new My Meal, My Way restaurant model pilot program being launched in Plain. A request was made to give her authority to sign a contact with Schnitzelbank Restaurant to provide the location and meals for the program.
MOTION (Spencer/Braunschweig) to approve the contract with Schnitzelbank Restaurant. Motion carried unanimously.
d,e) Blodgett presented the monthly financial statement and lists of monthly invoices for her department.
MOTION (Spencer/Braunschweig) to approve the Dec 2017 bills in the amount of $44,575.70 and the Jan 2018 bills in the amount of $36,810.25. Motion carried unanimously.
f) Kitzinger presented a list of invoices for transportation and nutrition services for consideration of write-off. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Spencer/Braunschweig) to write off the invoices in the amount of $1,822.89. Motion carried unanimously.
Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country Board Update:
Reported above. Blodgett added that a letter was received from GWAAR approving the 2018 aging plan budget and the contract now in place.
Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee:
Blodgett presented draft minutes from the meeting held 11/28/2017. Next meeting is Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
Transportation Coordination Committee:
Blodgett presented draft minutes from the meeting held 11/28/2017. Next meeting is Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
Next Meeting ADRC Agenda Items: No new items at this time.
Tony Tyczynski, Veterans Service Office:
a) Tyczynski presented departmental updates and service trends for his department.
No MOTION was done.
b) Tyczynski reviewed monthly financial statements.
No MOTION was done.
c) Tyczynski presented monthly bills for his department.
MOTION (Braunschweig/Spencer) to approve bills for $2,099.36. MOTION: carried unanimously.
d) Tyczynski informed committee of $544 carryover from veteran’s relief fund from 2017.

e) Tyczynski presented information for Tyczynski & Louie Birkholz to travel to Reno, NV in June 2018 for the National County Veterans Service Officers Conference.
