Transportation Coordination Committee
Thursday, February 20, 2020 10:00 A.M.

Members Present: Carlson, Curry, Klepper, Rudolph, Spencer (left at 10:55 am), Waddell, Wolkowski, Woodward, Ellington, Brown, Hause, Running and Schulte
Members Absent: Brattset (excused), Wildman (excused),
County Personnel: Blodgett, Zomer, Dankert, ADRC
1) Klepper called the meeting to order at 10:11 a.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.
2) Motion (Spencer/Curry) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously and agenda adopted.
3) MOTION (Rudolph/Spencer) to approve the minutes of the regular meeting from November 20, 2019. Motion carried unanimously. Vote all in favor.
4) Public Comment: None
5) Communications: Blodgett presented Justin Running, Vice president of Running Inc. and Paul Woodward, General Manager at Running Inc. Discussion followed
6) Blodgett informed the board that we ADRC have a huge increase on wheelchair rides. In the last few days we completed 19 wheelchair rides and due to the high demand ADRC is hoping to purchase another wheelchair handicap accessible van. She stated that if ADRC is planning to purchase a new van using only DOT Trust fund balance and no Levy impact. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Carlson/Ellington) to approve the purchase of new handicap accessible van and creating a resolution to be approved from the ADRC Oversight board. Vote all in favor.
7) Blodgett informed the board that the ADRC mileage reimbursement rate for our Volunteer Escort drivers is tied to IRS rate rounded down to the nearest whole cent. As of January 1st, 2020 the mileage rate is $0.57 per mile.
8) Blodgett stated that as of January 1st, 2020 the city of Baraboo signed a contract with Abbey vans. Currently we received a lot of complains about the taxi service in Baraboo and we’ve been redirecting all complains to Cynthia Haggard- city of Baraboo. Schulte requested ADRC to mail a surveys regarding the taxi program. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Ellington/Carlson) to authorize ADRC to mail out surveys to all clients using the Taxi Subsidy program. Vote all in favor.
9) Next meeting date and time: Thursday, May 28th, 2020 10:00 a.m.
10) MOTION (Rudolph/Wolkowski) to adjourn until Thursday, May 28th, 2020 at 10:00a.m. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 11:06 a.m.
