Chair Spencer called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.
Spencer request a change in the agenda moving VSO business items before item 5.
MOTION (Whitsell/Curry) to adopt the amended agenda with the change requested by Spencer. Motion carried unanimously and amended agenda as changed adopted.
MOTION (Whitsell /Curry) to approve the minutes from the meeting on January 8th, 2020. Motion carried unanimously.
Public Comment: Tyczynski presented to the board a Thank you letter from a Veteran and his family.
Communications: Tyczynski presented to the board Rick Erickson – new veteran service officer at Sauk County.
Tony Tyczynski, Veterans Service Office:

Tyczynski discussed the outreach by VSO;he attended the American Legion Mid-Winter Conference and the annual meeting of Sauk County VSO. Discussion followed, No action taken.

Tyczynski discussed the current Veterans case trends are very time consuming. Discussion followed; no action taken.

Tyczynski reviewed the year to date activity for his department.

d) Consider approval of the Monthly Invoices
MOTION (Whitsell/Curry) to approve the monthly invoices for December 2019 in the amount of $1,101.55. Motion carried unanimously

Review of Tony Tyczynski, VSO. Roll Call: AYES (4) Spencer, Whitsell, Curry, McAuliffe. NAYS (0). ABSENT: (1) Braunschweig. Motion carried unanimously.

Monthly ADRC report –
Hause presented the monthly report to the committee

Hause reported that ADRC is offering to the diner’s new restaurant model at Reedsburg Country Club and at Four Star Restaurant starting January, 2020. Hause presented the YTD Nutrition meals numbers –the number of the congregate diners at our restaurant model locations is increasing. ADRC will have a Grand opening for 4Star restaurant and Reedsburg Country Club in February. Hause informed the board that the owner of Schnitzelbank restaurant in Plain is closing, the last day will be February 14th, 2020. Hause informed the board that Susan Blodgett has been working on finding a different options for the diners in Spring Green/Plain area in the next few months. Discussion followed. No action taken

Transportation updates – Hause reported that the ADRC is working on a bids to purchase new handicap accessible van using departments DOT funds only. Hause presented to the board a state bid received from the DOT. Discussion followed, no action taken.

Motion (Whitsell/McAuliffe) to approve the ADRC Annual report. Motion carried unanimously. Vote all in favor.
c-d) Hause presented the monthly financial statements and list of invoices for her department. Discussion followed.
MOTION (McAuliffe/Curry) to approve the December 2019 bills in the amount of $ 14,959.66. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION (McAuliffe/Curry) to approve the January 2020 bills in the amount of $ 15,464.93. Motion carried unanimously.
Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle County Board Update: Staring March 1st, 2020 the regional office will have a new director. Next month the regional office will have their budget meeting.
