“This meeting is open to the public. However, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the public can access the meeting by Zoom or by phone using the links and numbers bellow. No one should attend the meeting if they are experiencing COVID - or flu-like symptoms, have a fever, sore throat or recently experienced a loss of taste or smell. Masks are encouraged but not required. Social distancing of 6 feet is required.”

DRAFT MEETING MINUTES

 

COMMITTEE: Aging & Disability Resource Center and Veterans Service Office Committee

DATE / TIME: Thursday, October 28th, 2021     3:30 P.M.

PLACE:              West Square Building, County Board Gallery Room 326

                          Baraboo, WI  53913

 

Members Present:  Curry, Polivka, and Riek

Members Absent:   Bushweiler (excused); Dorner (excused)

County Personnel:  Quinn Hause, ADRC; Marina Wittmann, ADRC; Stefka Zomer, ADRC.

Others Present:       None

 

Curry called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

MOTION (Riek/Polivka) to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried unanimously.

Public Comment:  None

Quinn Hause, Aging & Disability Resource Center

  1. Hause informed the board that ADRC received a request from Lori Klicko, Interim Director of Sauk County Health Care Center to take a temporary break from Home Delivered Meals for ADRC due to staffing issues. Hause stated that ADRC provide daily between 150-200 meals. HCC would like to keep the Frozen meals for ADRC and is looking to temporally stop – 2-3 months. Wittmann informed the board that ADRC is looking at various options to find new vendor for meals. ADRC informed our funder GWAAR about the possible change of the meal vendor. Discussion followed.

MOTION (Polivka/Riek) to approve ADRC to start working on contract with Sauk County Jail or look for another vendor to provide home delivered meals for Sauk county residents. Vote all in favor. 

MOTION (Riek/Polivka) to adjourn until Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously, and the meeting adjourned at 3:47 p.m.
