I have been the Sauk County Veterans Service Officer since 2005.  Immediately prior to that, I worked for a private contractor at Ft McCoy.  I proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1980-1985 as a Combat Engineer and Weather Observer.

I have a passion for serving veterans and their families. Additionally, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

It is a privilege and a pleasure to represent Sauk County and serve the veterans and their family, and I look forward to hopefully being of assistance to all of you that I have not met yet.

I am a veteran of the United States Air Force who deployed to Oman and Qatar as an intelligence officer in support of Operations ENDURING and IRAQI FREEDOM during the Global War on Terrorism while on active duty. I have also worked as a public school teacher in Oklahoma and North Carolina and as an office manager here in Wisconsin.

I raised two young men whom I am proud to call my sons. I love our two crazy dogs, and in my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, puzzles, and the performing arts. Outside of work, you may find me volunteering in the community or passing on my passion for dancing to kids of all ages.

It is an honor to serve our community of veterans here in Sauk County!

I have been a Sauk County Veterans Benefits Specialist since 2022, and it has been an honor to serve our veterans and their families! This is not just a job; it is a passion for me!

I am a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. In 1991, I was activated to deploy to Landstuhl, Germany's 2nd General Hospital, in support of Desert Shield/Desert Storm, where we received troops wounded in the Middle East.

Outside of helping our veterans, I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, and lake life.

It is such a pleasure serving and getting to know our area veterans. If you are a veteran new to our area or new to our office, I cannot wait to meet you as well!
