Pre-Venture Counseling

The Sauk County Development Corporation (SBDC) provides free and confidential pre-venture counseling for individuals considering starting a business in Sauk County.  Pre-venture counseling is designed to provide individuals with feedback regarding the feasibility of their business idea.  Among other topics, the counseling explores and/or provides referrals on where to find information about:

• Your potentional strengths/weaknesses as business owner 
• What's included in a typical business plan
• Financing options that may be available
• Posslble locations for your proposed business
• Types of legal business formation (sole proprietorship, LLC, etc.)
• Business education courses that may be of benefit to you
• and much more.
