Mission Statement:

To record documents in a timely manner while complying with Wisconsin State Statutes. This office also serves the public by issuing copies of all real estate, vital records, military discharges and UCC filings. Citizens look to this office for assistance solving problems and answering questions that may arise.

About the Register of Deeds

Recording real estate documents, filing uniform commercial code documents pertaining to real estate, recording and issuing vital records, birth, death, marriage & divorce certificates.

• Mortgages, Assignments/Amendments of Land Contracts.
• Articles of Incorporation, Amendments & Dissolutions.

• Military Records (closed records, public access denied)
• Final Judgments.
• Termination of Life Estate, Certificate of Termination of Joint Tenancy.
• Certificates of Descent.
• Plats, Certified Survey Maps & Condo Plats.
• Marriages, Births, Deaths, Court Ordered Name Changes.
• Real Estate Affidavits.
• Initial Lis Pendens as well as Release of Lis Pendens.
