Purpose
Background: During construction of the Great Sauk State Trail railroad ties were removed from the corridor. In order to properly dispose of the ties from the Sauk/Prairie segment and the upcoming Badger segment a request for proposal was posted and sent to contractors. It is estimated that we will have between 1100 and 1300 tons of ties to dispose of.
