Pat gave an update on the Trail. Highway will finish up brush cutting in Badger. Marty said there will be a ceremony Monday to accept Ho Chunks donation of $100,000.

Matt requested Highway to re-approve the Snowmobile Club contract to change dates from the 15th to the 31st.

Matt reported construction will start June 1st. Pre-construction on Friday, April 13th.

Pat gave an update on the Highway Department.

i. Review and Approve Proposed County Routes ATV/UTV for Amendments to Ordinance Chapter 15.
Pat update the committee on the ordinance, County Board postponed ordinance, doesn’t state whether municipalities should be involved and off road alternatives. Pat recommends taking no action and working with Dick Fish added that back when Todd originally drafted this ordinance that this has evolved into much more. He agrees the ordinance should be reviewed and revised.
Laurie and Russ Hasenbalg live in the Town of Excelsior and are not in favor of the ATV’s. They asked committee to not just look at opening entire townships but look at specific routes.
Pat and Deb will review the ordinance and will bring back to Highway in May.

Pat and Deb will review the ordinance and will bring back to Highway Committee in May.

k. Discussion on Request to purchase land near Baraboo Shop.
Committee decided not to sell land.
