Purpose

To Honor Steve Pate for Over Twenty-Seven (27) Years of Service

Background

BACKGROUND: It is the custom of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors to recognize employees who have served the people of Sauk County with distinction. Steve Pate faithfully served the people of Sauk County for over twenty-seven (27) years, serving in multiple roles.  First, serving as the Lead Support Technician, and later was promoted in 2000 to the MIS Coordinator role, which was retitled to MIS Director.  Steve provided exemplary leadership and dedication to the county's technology and information system functions.  His dedication and faithful commitment to serving Sauk County are valued and appreciated.  Steve retired from his position with Sauk County on March 3, 2026.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, who met in regular session, hereby expresses its sincere appreciation and commends Steve Pate for his over twenty-seven (27) years of dedicated service to the residents of Sauk County; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chair of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors is hereby directed to present Steve Pate with an appropriate certificate of commendation as a symbol of our esteem and gratitude for her service.
