Subject:            Spring Thaw Period

As of Monday, March 30, 2026 at 6:00 a.m., we are lifting the weight restrictions on all county trunk highways, that is lettered highways.

Please remember that this weight restriction does not apply to town roads, they are controlled by the local townships.  If you have any questions on local road postings, call the town chairperson.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding at this critical time of the year for Sauk County roads.
