Purpose

The County Board can adopt its own rules of procedure to govern how the 9 County Board operates. The adopted County Board Rules govern the actions of the County 10 Board for the two-year term of the Board

Background

The County Board can adopt its own rules of procedure to govern how the County Board operates.  The adopted County Board Rules govern the actions of the County Board for the two-year term of the Board.  This resolution would set the Rules of the Board for the 2026-28 Term of the Sauk County Board.  The Rules of the Board are set forth below, with deletions made by strikethrough and additions made by underline.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, who met in regular session, hereby approve and adopt the attached Rules of the Board for the 2026-28 Term of the County Board.

 

Approved by the Executive and Legislative Committee on April 7, 2026.

 

To be presented to the County Board on April 21, 2026.
