Resolution Body

BACKGROUND: Sauk County currently offers dental insurance for its employees through Delta Dental. These changes take into consideration recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA) and needs of the Sauk County employees.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, that the

following changes are made to Sauk County’s Delta Dental plan effective January 1, 2025 be hereby approved.

 

  • Evidenced Based Integrated Care Plan (EBICP) – Additional cleanings for members with certain medical conditions; this allows extra care for members needing it the most.
  • Reduced x-ray frequencies – Changes bitewings from every 6 months to every 12 months, and full mouth from every 3 years to every 5 years to align with American Dental Association (ADA) recommendations for x-ray exposure.
  • Increase individual annual maximum to $1,250 (from $1,000).
