3. Adopt minutes of previous meeting – November 8, 2018

6. Discussion and possible action to allow for cash prizes for NACD poster competition.
7. Public hearing: To begin at approximately 9:15 a.m. (Committee to consider and take possible action at the conclusion of the respective hearing.)
a. Petition 19-2018. A petition to consider a rezone from an Exclusive Agriculture zoning district to a Recreation Commercial zoning district and conditional use permits pursuant to s. 7.035(3)(e) for a Recreation Facility, outdoor, s.7.036(2)(e) for a Campground, and s.7036(6)(e) Resort. Land affected by the proposed rezone and conditional use are located in the NE ¼, of the SW ¼, Section 1, 10N, R5E, Town of Honey Creek, and as further described in Petition 19-2018. Tax parcel identification number 020-0265-00000 and 020-0264-10000. (Postponed from 10/23/2018)
8. Discussion and possible action to expend funds for Ray Archuleta workshop.
9. Next meeting dates – Thursday, December 13th, 2018 and Thursday, January 10th, 2019 @ 9:00 a.m.

At 9:00 a.m. Wenzel called the Conservation, Planning, and Zoning Committee meeting to order and Templin certified to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.
Adopt agenda: Motion by C. Spencer/J. Berlin to adopt the agenda as presented. Motion carried, all in favor.
Adopt minutes: Motion by S. Laubscher/B. Newport to approve the November 8, 2018 minutes CPZ Committee meeting minutes. Motion carried, all in favor.
Public Comment:
None.
Communications:
Wilson stated that the Department received an email on behalf of Tuckaway and Craig Sandmeier asking that the public hearing be continued until January so that they have an opportunity to negotiate access.
Discussion and possible action to allow for cash prizes for cash prizes for NACD poster competition Wilson advised the committee of the poster contest and allow students to participate and receive prize money. Motion by J. Berlin/G. Johnson to allow the CPZ Department to provide cash prizes for the NACD poster competition out of their budget.

Due to communication provided Motion by M. Krueger/C. Spencer, to lay on the table until the Attorneys for both parties have had an opportunity to negotiate and select a date when they a ready for the committee to take action on it. Motion carried, all in favor.
Discussion and possible action to expend funds for Ray Archuleta workshop. Wilson explained the workshop and funding sources. She explained that the department currently has money budgeted for educational/training events, but noted that there are individuals interested in contributing to the workshop. Motion by C. Spencer/J. Berlin to expend the funds for the Ray Archuleta workshop. Motion carried, all in favor.
Next meetings of the Conservation, Planning, and Zoning Committee will be held on Thursday, December 13th at 9:00 a.m. and January 10th 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Motion by C. Spencer/G. Johnson to adjourn the meeting at 9:08 a.m. Motion carried, all in favor.
