Child Passenger Safety OPERATIONAL PLAN
Sauk County Health Department

I.   Purpose

1. It is the intent of this plan to document those who will be participating in this multi-regional 
Child Passenger Safety Grant for the purchasing and distributing of child safety seats to qualified 
recipients.
•  Participating agencies must follow federally established poverty guidelines or WIC income 
guidelines to qualify recipients for seats through this grant.
•  Certified technicians must be present and provide education on child safety seat and specific 
seat installation instructions to the recipients of the child safety seats. Certified technicians 
must have a current certification
