Since 2019, SSM has donated money to allow Sauk County to initiate and continue with the Educational Navigator Program. This program assists those that are involved in the criminal justice system to obtain their GED/HSED. The funding is used to pay for an Educational Navigator position that person helps these individuals with tutoring and navigating the processes through the educational system. The funding also provides financial assistance for test-taking, books, computers to utilize while in the program, incentives for attendance, completing tests, and successfully obtaining their GED/HSED.
