Clerk of Courts and the Accounting Dept met with a representative to discuss the service being provided for juror payments through the use of a debit card. After the overview was complete, it appears to be a quick, efficient and time saving process. There is likely a cost savings as well. Currently Dane & Wood County utilize this company for the purpose of paying jurors. It is my understanding from the demonstration, the Sauk County Jail utilizes this company for jail inmate release funds. Currently the Circuit Court budget supports jury payments/mileage. Clerk of Court budget supports summons mailings/postage.
