*AMENDED SAUK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS NOTICE OF COMMITTEE MEETING COMMITTEE: UW - Baraboo/Sauk County Campus Commission DATE: Thursday, October 25, 2012 TIME: 10:00 AM PLACE: UW - Baraboo/Sauk County Campus in the *Rodems Room, 1006 Connie Road, Baraboo, WI REASON FOR MEETING: REGULAR: SPECIAL: X ORDER OF BUSINESS: 1. Call to order and certification of compliance with open meeting law. 2. Approval of agenda. 3. Public comment. 4. Communications. 5. Possible closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. s.19.85(1)(e) deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. (Discussion of BMOC presentation of proposal for Residential Facility.) 6. Reconvene in open session immediately following the closed session. 7. Set next date and time. 8. Adjournment. MINUTES UW –Baraboo/Sauk County Campus Commission - Special Meeting Thursday, October 25, 2012: 10:00 A.M. Members Present: Wedekind, Geimer, Lombard, Von Asten, Kolb and DeMars Members Absent: Giese Others Present: Pleger, Armstrong , Kohlmeyer, A. Kleczek-Bolin, T. Stieve, K. Schauf, E. Geick, M. Krueger, M. Palm, B. Boettcher and M. Jurvelin Chair Wedekind called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M. and certified compliance with the Open Meetings Law. MOTION (Kolb/Lombard) to approve the agenda. Motion carried unanimously. Public Comment: None Communications: None Possible closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. s 19.85(1) (e) deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. (Discussion of BMOC presentation of proposal for Residential Facility.) MOTION (Kolb/Lombard) to go into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. s 19.85(1) (e) deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Discussion of BMOC presentation of proposal for Residential Facility. Roll call vote. AYE: (6) Wedekind, Lombard, Von Asten, Geimer, Kolb, and DeMars. NAY: (0). ABSENT: (1) Giese. Motion carried unanimously and committee went into closed session. MOTION (Von Asten/Lombard) to reconvene to open session immediately following the closed session. Motion carried unanimously. MOTION (Lombard/Geimer) to reject bid proposal from BMOC, contacting them with our decision by phone and following up with a formal letter. Motion carried unanimously.
